Getting started
iVaccine automatically sends vaccine reminders according to your region's immunization schedule. All you need to do is select your region and add your baby's name and date of birth to begin receiving notifications!
Before you begin please ensure that your region of residence has been selected.
Note: The region selected shows the mandatory vaccines in your country of residence
To get started please go ahead and add a baby
How do I add a baby?
- Click the '+' sign shown on the top right of the home screen
- Add your baby's particulars (Name and Date of Birth)
- Hit save
How do I see details for a vaccine?
By clicking on a vaccine you can:
- Schedule reminders for your child's vaccine
- Read a description on what the vaccine is for.
How do I add a vaccine to a schedule?
You can add custom or predefined vaccines to your child's schedule
- Click the '+' button on the top right of the schedule screen
- Select the vaccine you wish to add
- Select the number of doses
The newly added vaccines will appear at the top of the schedule listing
How do I add a custom vaccine to a schedule?
iVaccine allows you to add custom or predefined vaccines to your child's schedule
- Click the '+' button on the top right of the schedule screen
- Select 'custom vaccine'
- Enter the vaccine name
- Select the number of doses
The newly added vaccines will appear at the top of the schedule listing
I am using the iPhone app - How do I delete an added vaccine?
Swipe the vaccine line item you wish to delete to see the delete option
I am using the Android app - How do I delete an added vaccine?
Press and hold the vaccine line item for a couple of seconds for a pop-up to appear offering you the ability to delete a vaccine
- Click the checkboxes on the left of each line item you want to delete
- A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen with the 'Delete' button
- Clicking the 'Delete' button will remove the selected line items from the schedule
How do I set a reminder?
iVaccine will remind you of upcoming vaccines as per your region schedule. You may also set individual reminders for each vaccine according to your baby's schedule (as advised by your child's doctor)
- Click on a vaccine
- Set an appointment date & time (the time your child's pediatrician will see you and your baby)
- Set a reminder time (the time before the actual appointment that you'd like to be reminded).
- Click the 'Save' button
Example: if the doctor's appointment is at 3:00 p.m and you'd like to be reminded at 2:00 p.m - set the reminder time to '1 hour before'.
Is there a pre-set reminder time for scheduled vaccines?
The default reminder time is 8:00 a.m. on the day the vaccine is due
How will I know if I miss an appointment?
If an appointment is missed an exclamation mark shows up next to the vaccine letting you know that action needs to be taken against the line item in question.
Marking administered vaccines as 'done'
Vaccines that have been administered can be shown to reflect their status by setting the vaccine 'done' status to 'yes'.
- Click a vaccine line item to view its details
- Click on the check box opposite the 'done' field
- Vaccine status is now updated
You are advised to change the status of each vaccine once it's administered. However, in case you forget to update the vaccine status the application will automatically change the vaccine status icon to an exclamation mark, signifying that action needs to be taken against that particular line item.
You may also make multiple vaccine selections and update their status. We recommend you do this when maintaining a record of previously administered shots.

- A menu with a 'Done' button will appear at the bottom of the screen
- Clicking the 'Done' button will update the vaccine status
How do I view a summary of my baby's vaccinations?
To view an info-graphic summary of all completed and remaining vaccines, click on the toggle view button (top right) on the schedule screen. You can also click on a vaccine to view its details directly from the summary page.
How do I share the summary view?
